Meet Your Instructor: Anastasia Steiner - Birdsell

My name is Anastasia and I own SHIELD First Aid & CPR. I have lived in Cadillac for 4 years now. Originally Michigan born, our family moved around while I was young, until we settled in Northern California for 20 years. My husband, our three children, and I moved back during the summer of 2020 for a better environment for our kids. We love the outdoors: hiking, hunting, fishing, water, and all the beautiful gems that Northern Michigan has to offer. I am also a strong supporter of firearms training, especially for women.

I am extremely passionate about what I teach. I feel that it is our responsibility as community members and human beings to know what we can do during emergencies. Being prepared and self-aware are essential during this chaotic time we find ourselves living in. I want to reach as many as I can to bring confidence to everyone so they can react quickly for those that they love, themselves, and neighbors.

Like a Lady Firearms Training is proud to partner with Shield CPR & First Aid Training. Anastasia offers a 2-hour combination class at our Manton, Michigan location. Class numbers are limited to maximize quality instruction and allow for plenty of time for demonstration. This combination class leaves students feeling empowered with the skills they need in an emergency situation... and TWO certificates!
